The curve of the variation in the geomagnetic field strength from the 6th century BC to the 2nd century AD in the eastern Mediterranean region has been constructed, The new data, together with the data on the variation in the geomagnetic field strength in Georgia and Central Asia, indicate that the geomagnetic field variations in these regions are noticeably different. The representation of the geomagnetic field variations a's superpositions of wave fields with different periods and drift directions makes it possible to explain the observed discrepancies between the field strength variation patterns in different regions of the globe, which can be interpreted as an argument for the wave nature of the variations. |
