Harrison, L., Beauharnois, M., Berndt, J., Kiedron, P., Michalsky, J. and Min, Q. (1999). The rotating shadowband spectroradiometer (RSS) at SGP. Geophysical Research Letters 26: doi: 10.1029/1999GL900328. issn: 0094-8276. |
|
The RSS provides continuous spectral measurements of total-horizontal, diffuse-horizontal, and direct-normal irradiance from 360 to 1100 nm using the automated shadowband technique. We show instrument performance, calibration method and accuracies, case data from the first-generation instrument operated at the Southern Great Plains (SGP) site, and comparisons with the improved design now starting operation. ¿ 1999 American Geophysical Union |
