Nonlinear reflection of quasimonochromatic whistler waves, which is due to their parametric interaction with an electrostatic resonant cone wave and an ionic (acoustic or cyclotron) wave near the level in the magnetosphere, where the whistler wave frequency coincides with the lower hybrid resonance (LHR) frequency, is considered. The coherent couple of these electrostatic LHR and ionic waves, which arises during the parametric decay process of the initial whistler wave, generates the reflected whistler wave. It has the wave vector directed in the opposite direction to the initial whistler wave and frequency downshifted by two ionic wave frequencies. The quantitative estimations show a high efficiency of this process in magnetosphere conditions. ¿ American Geophysical Union 1996
