Absorption data obtained during the November 2--5, 1969, solar proton event at 36 M Hz (ordinary and extraordinary waves), 18 M Hz, and 9 M Hz for four rocket flights plus 30-M Hz riometer data are shown to be in good accord with theory. Factors influencing the precision of the results are discussed.
