Alfv¿n wave turbulence is shown to produce anomalous transport phenomena if the wavelength in the direction perpendicular to the magnetic field is comparable to the ion gyroradius. Because the scale length of the Alfv¿n wave turbulence is much larger than that of electrostatic waves, such anomalous transport phenomena play crucial roles in a large-scale plasmapause electrons, and formation of the stable auroral red arcs as well as viscous interaction between the solar wind and the magnetosphere are discussed. |
