The intensities of N2 bands (Vegard-Kaplan, second positive, and Lyman-Birge-Hopfield) in proton induced polar cap aurora have been calculated by using the modified results of the loss function of protons and the secondary electron spectrum. It is found that the present results differ significantly from the previous results.
