Electric field power spectra of low-frequency turbulence measured by satellite-borne double probe detectors are affected by the orientation of the double probe with respect to the velocity of the satellite. The power spectrum from a spinning jdouble probe will have a spin modulation that is dependent on the orientation of the spin axis and the intrinsic, spectral index and dimensionality of the turbulence. The measured power spectrum is examined for various intrinsic spectral indices and dimensionalities as a function of the orientation of the double probe.
