Velocity biasing can lead to erroneous interpretation of temperature and density evolution of the solar wind. It is argued that possibly there is no difference in the physics of the slow and fast components (Helios 1). Finally, it is suggested to use T/u2, in order to reduce the strong dependence of temperature on velocity.
