Analytical spatial yield spectrum approach has been applied to calculate the electron flux, volume excitation, and ionization rates for monoenergetic electrons incident on the earth's atmosphere. The results have been compared with the previous model calculations of Mantas and Walker (1976) and Banks et al. (1974).
