The high resolution of the Vostok records provides an unique look at the cause of paleoclimatic variability during the last complete glacial cycle. The records present strong evidence for the interaction between orbital forcing and internal, physico-chemical mechanisms of variability. This interaction appears to account for the great wealth of spectral features found in the records. ¿American Geophysical Union 1991 |
