Sadeh, D.S. and Meidav, M. (1975). Possible solar effects on earthquake occurrences. Journal of Geophysical Research 80: doi: 10.1029/JB080i023p03378. issn: 0148-0227.

In replying to Hunter's criticism, more tests were made which show that the sidereal period is not an artifact of the 'midnight peak' and is not caused by the 1969 Alaskan earthquake or the 1965 Aleutian quake. An indication of an effect of the solar declination on earthquake rate and its implication for a proposed model is discussed.
