Data collected during eight separate field studies conducted at four coal-fired power plants were combined to investigate the dependence of the nonaqueous phase SO2 oxidation rate on various meteorological parameters. The data exhibited a strong seasonal trend with average morning SO2 oxidation rates varying from a winter low of 1.5¿10-3 h-1 to a summer high of 1.3¿10-2 h-1. |
