Using version 19 Halogen Occultation Experiment (HALOE) data, we estimate the abundance of water vapor entering the stratosphere <H2O>e is 3.80¿0.49 ppmv averaged over 1993--1997. The average of all of the recently published estimates of <H2O>e is 3.85 ppmv, which we believe is the best estimate of <H2O>e. ¿ 1999 American Geophysical Union |
