A methodology is described for combining current information on ozone perturbatins estimated from chemical model calculatins and ozone trend analyses. This approach, known as Bayes analysis, yields probabilities for different amounts of change in total column ozone and ozone in Umkehr layer 8 (near 40 km). An examination is made of the sensitivity of the results of two different chemical models, and uncertainties involved in chemical and trend analysis estimates.
