A model is proposed to evaluate theoretically the radiated power in the LF-VHF band. It is proposed that the positive corona streamer process is responsible for the radiation in the band which is not explained by any other mechanisms, known to explain other frequency regions of the observed spectrum. The calculations show that the power radiated, and its variation with frequency, is similar to that observed by previous workers. ¿ American Geophysical Union 1994 |
