We describe a coronograph built to work with the European Southern Observatory (ESO) adaptive optics system, which enables studies at IR wavelengths of the 1--7 arcsec environment of stellar objects, at high angular resolution (0.12 arcsec at 2.2 μ). We present preliminary results from the observation of two main sequence IR excess stars: HR 4796 and β Pictoris. ¿ American Geophysical Union 1996 |
