Reactions of ClOO with NO were studied by the photolysis of Cl2 in the presence of NO and O2 with or without added N2 using study states photolysis. ClOO is formed by the reversible reaction Cl + O2 + M?ClOO + M 1,-1 The results indicate that ClOO reacts with NO via two channels:
