Researchers who were once content working on isolated aspects of the space weather system are now pooling their efforts to study how other phenomena interact with their own. So it should come as no surprise that space weather education is beginning to reflect the emerging trend of scientists' work. Although the limited number of faculty positions in space weather-related fields worldwide means that Sun-to-mud teaching can be tricky, one educational endeavor overcoming this challenge-to rave reviews-is the two-week summer school run by the Center for Integrated Space Weather Modeling (CISM). |
