The October-November 2003 Halloween Storms were the star of the sixth annual Space Weather Week meeting, held 13-16 April 2004 in Boulder, Colo. Space Weather Week is a forum to discuss national and international space weather interests and is a major annual event for the seven-agency National Space Weather Program. The event is intended to solicit the needs for operational services and to assess current scientific understanding and the capabilities of operational and scientific tools.
