Over 250 representatives from industry, academia, and government converged on Broomfield, Colorado, on 5-8 April 2005, for the 7th annual Space Weather Week conference. This event, hosted by the NOAA Space Environment Center (SEC), featured over 100 oral and poster presentations by researchers, modelers, forecasters, and industry representatives. The event was co-sponsored by the Air Force Research Lab, the National Science Foundation, and the NASA Earth-Sun Systems Division. The conference addressed a wide variety of issues underscoring the remarkably diverse impacts of space weather on today's technology.
