An expression that can be used to accurately calculate one atmosphere equilibration temperatures from the compositions of coexisting feldspars and liquids was derived from experimentally studied natural systems and a wide range of simple systems. This expression is a superior predictor of temperature compared to other feldspar-liquid geothermometers.
