As part of NASA's Global Exploration Strategy, the agency announced on 4 December that the United States will begin sending astronauts to the Moon again in around 2020 and plans to establish a permanent base there sometime around 2024. However, the agency has yet to determine key details of the plan, including cost and what science will be conducted. |
