| Description | Papatua Guyot is located at 14¿ 53.3' S, 170¿ 38.6' W and is part of the Samoan Hotspot Trail on the Pacific Plate. The seamount is 3530 m high with the top at sealevel and the ocean bottom at -3530 m. It is fairly small with a volume of 1908 km3. The seamount is relatively round with little elongation and an azimuth of approximately 178¿. The edges of the seamount are irregular. |
