| Description | SONNE 167 Volcano 40, SMNT-376S-1691W is located at 37¿ 34.8' S, 169¿ 10.7' W and is part of the Louisville Ridge on the Pacific Plate. The seamount is 3625 m high with the top at -960 m and the ocean bottom at -4585 m. It is the largest seamount on the Louisville Ridge with a volume of 10342 km3. A break in the slope of the seamount occurs at -1100 m. The seamount is very elongated in a southeast, northwest direction with an azimuth of approximately 120¿. The edges of the seamount are relatively smooth. |
