Students will work in groups of 2 to complete the ecosystem-based management simulation. Students play the role of a fishery manager, and must make best decisions to preserve the ecological health of the environment, while taking into account economic interests of fishers.
It is useful to go over the first couple of questions together as a class to make sure students understand what is being asked of them.
