Description
URESPONSE is a MATLAB program with graphical user interface (GUI) developed for sensor response estimate of superconducting rock magnetometers (SRM) based on measurements of a magnetic point source (MPS) sample. The software is associated with the paper titled "Sensor response estimate and cross calibration of paleomagnetic measurements on pass-through superconducting rock magnetometers" submitted to Geochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems. URESPONSE allows SRM sensor response to be estimated for measurements made at different resolution and for continuous samples with different rectangular shape and/or center position on cross-section. URESPONSE exports calculated sensor response data as a text file, which can be directly read by the UDECON software to perform optimized deconvolution and restore accurate and high-resolution remanence signal from the continuous pass-through measurements. |
