Description
A text definition of seafloor spreading; including the production of symmetrical oceanic crust on both sides of the mid-ocean ridge as well as the magnetic qualities of rising magma as it cools. The discovery of magnetic anomalies on the seafloor was described, in addition to their usefulness in calculating spreading rate and other geologic processes. |
