Detailed File Information |
Description
The table provides magnetic intensity and polarity information on multiple core sections. NRM stands for natural remanent magnetization, which is the magnetization retained in the samples from the magnetic filed at the time of their respective formations. The next column, AF demagnetization, is the alternating magnetic field strengths used to demagnetize the samples. The inclination provides the direction of the geomagnetic North Pole for each sample. |
|
Instructions Focus on the differences in magnetic field strength and north magnetic pole directions for the samples. |
