Description
This archive contains 10 data sets used to construct as many geomagnetic field models of the past 3 millenia.
Data sets consist of archeological artifact measurements (ARCH3kx.dat), lake sediments measurements (SED3kx.dat), or a combination of both (CALS3kx.dat), where x is indicate version 0 or 1. A selection based on pre-defined criteria was applied to ARCH3kcstx.dat and CALS3kcstx.dat data sets. Each version 0 data set produced a version 0 model. After a statistical rejection of outliers was version 1 data sets were created and used to produce a corresponding version 1 model.
