Spatially coincident Deep-Tow, Sea Beam, and SeaMARC II bathymetric data are statistically analyzed to determine the scales at which each system is reliable for mapping seafloor features. The methods we employ, including ruler measures of contours and profiles, and the covariance function and power spectrum of profiles, allow us to investigate the size of features measured as a function of scale. ¿American Geophysical Union 1991 |
