The nonthermal continuum radiation or Terrestrial Myriametric Radiation (TMR) has been widely received by spacecraft. Some of the TMR are, however, intensified and broadened in frequency in good correlation with the Auroral Kilometric Radiation (AKR). We call such radiation Auroral Myriametric Radiation (AMR), because this is well correlated with the AKR. Correlations between the AMR and the AKR, difference between the AMR and the TMR, and the intensity and the frequency bandwidth of the AMR are discussed. Although the lower cutoff frequencies of the TMR has been widely used to estimate the local plasma frequency, evidence is presented that the two frequencies do not coincide in some cases. ¿ American Geophysical Union 1994
