Kozlov, S.I. (2005). Discussion paper: Statistical relations between geomagnetic parameters and the number of insurance cases and amount of insurance payments in space activity. International Journal of Geomagnetism and Aeronomy 6: doi: 10.1029/2004GI000121. issn: 1524-4423.

<1>¿¿The correlation relations between solar and geomagnetic parameters and the number of insurance cases N and the amount of insurance payments in the space activity are considered. The seasonal effect in the number of insurance payments is also considered. It is shown that there is a relation between N and F10.7 for low solar activity with the correlation coefficient -0.75 and the statistical significance 0.95. The relation is negative, that means that at F10.7 < 100 the number of insurance cases decreases in the years with higher F10.7. Statistically significant seasonal dependence is found for the interval between the signing the insurance document and occurrence of the insurance case.
