Description
MagIC is a software package that can be used for the population of the standarized SmartBook data files for the PMAG and RMAG databases in EarthRef.org that are part of the Magnetics Information Consortium. This package contains the MagIC Console Software that comprises a toolbar in Microsoft Excel with many important features such as import-export of standard MagIC text files and the MagIC Wizard that helps customizing the data layout of the SmartBook files. This package also contains an extensive data and metadata definition of the SmartBook and an empty SmartBook that is used as the default template file.
